What your sheet needs
Only one of a title, a photo link or some notes per row. The more you give it, the better the draft. A typical supplier sheet works as it is:
new-arrivals.csv
title,image_url,price,sku,notes
Oat mug,https://cdn.example.com/mug-1.jpg,28,MUG-OAT,"12 oz, speckled, dishwasher safe"
Linen napkins,https://cdn.example.com/napkin.jpg,14,NAP-4,"set of 4, stonewashed"
Ash bowl,https://cdn.example.com/bowl.jpg,36,BWL-ASH,hand thrownColumn names don't have to match. StoreAi recognises common names like Name, Product name, Item, Image, Photo and Picture, picks up extra photo columns, and shows you the matches before it starts.
What happens next
- 01Upload and check the matchesYou see which column became what. Fix any before you start.
- 02StoreAi drafts every rowEach row gets the same treatment as Snap to Shelf: title, description, category, facts, SEO fields and alt text.
- 03Review as a batchSkim the drafts in a list, edit anything, then create them in Shopify as drafts.
Questions
- How many rows can I upload?
- Each row counts as one Snap listing, so it's up to your plan's monthly allowance: 20 on Starter, 60 on Growth and 100 on Pro.
- Do image links need to be public?
- Yes. StoreAi downloads each photo from its link, so it has to open in a browser without a login.
