Privacy policy
StoreAi is a Shopify app made by MoreCheckouts. This page explains what data the app reads from your store, why it needs it, how long it keeps it and who helps process it. In short: we use the least data we can, we never store your customers' personal details, and we never sell anything.
Who we are
“StoreAi”, “we” and “us” mean MoreCheckouts, the developer of the StoreAi app on the Shopify App Store. For the store data the app processes, the merchant who installs StoreAi is the data controller and we act as a data processor on their behalf. Questions: nick@morecheckouts.com.
What the app reads from your store
- Shop details: your store name, domain, plan, currency and the store owner's email address, to run your account, bill through Shopify and send the emails you ask for.
- Catalog: products, variants, collections, images, metafields and SEO fields, so StoreAi can check them, draft better copy and write approved changes back.
- Orders and sales reports: read only to count units sold, refunds and revenue per product per day. These daily totals power your proof report and show which products matter most. We do not store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses, and we never read payment details.
AI content and image features
StoreAi uses AI models to do its work. Here is what each feature sends and what happens to it.
- AI Mirror asks AI assistants and search engines shopper-style questions about your products (for example “best vegan leather tote under $100”) and stores their answers and your score, so you can see changes over time.
- Catalog Studio sends product text, attributes and your brand voice settings to an AI model to draft titles, descriptions, meta tags, alt text and translations. Nothing is published to your store until you approve it, and every change can be undone.
- Snap to Shelf sends a product photo you upload to an AI model to draft a listing. The photo is saved to your Shopify store as product media only if you publish the listing.
- Generated images are created from your product photos and prompts and saved to your store only when you choose to keep them.
We send AI providers product content only: never order data or customer personal data. Our providers process these requests to return a result and do not use them to train their models.
How long we keep data
- Order-derived sales totals are kept for 60 days, then deleted.
- Everything else (catalog drafts, change history, Mirror results, settings) is kept while StoreAi is installed.
- When you uninstall, we delete your store's data, completing it when Shopify sends its shop redaction request (48 hours after uninstall).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run StoreAi, and Shopify access tokens are stored encrypted. We only request the Shopify permissions the features need.
Shopify privacy requests (GDPR and CCPA)
We honour all of Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:
- Customer data request: we hold no customer personal data, so we confirm there is nothing to return.
- Customer redact: we hold no customer personal data. Any order-derived totals are aggregated per product and day and cannot identify a person.
- Shop redact: we delete all data for that store.
Merchants can also ask us to export or delete their store's data at any time by emailing us.
Subprocessors
We use a small number of providers to run StoreAi. Each only gets what it needs for its job.

We will update this list before adding a provider that receives store data.
What we never do
- Sell or rent any data.
- Use your store's data to train AI models, or let our providers do so.
- Store your customers' names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
- Publish changes to your store without your approval.

This marketing site uses cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and clicks on install buttons. It sets no tracking cookies and collects no personal data.
Changes and contact
